The Lost Librarian

The Lost Librarian was a series of interactive books which presented a quest experience. Each book contained a narrative driven puzzle for the audience to solve. Active technology was integrated into the books to make the puzzles interactive.

The books had a fictional narrative which followed the lives of three sisters during the witch trials in England. The project was aimed at children.

The project was a collaboration by Lizzie Johnson, Kyle Hirani. The narrative written by Matthew Gibbs of Tale Spinners. It was commissioned by Libraries Unlimited.

The first iteration of the project was toured across three libraries, Exeter Library, St. Thomas Library and Topsham Library in Exeter.
